Role Overview
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of landscape construction projects in the UAE.
Projects include softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and external works delivered to schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Project Delivery
- Manage landscape construction projects from site mobilization through handover.
- Review landscape drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan site activities.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Plan and monitor schedules, manpower, equipment, and material resources.
- Supervise paving, kerbing, retaining walls, water features, planting, turfing, and irrigation works.
- Ensure irrigation systems are installed, tested, and commissioned correctly.
Controls, Compliance, and Teams
- Monitor budgets, costs, variations, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE requirements and authority approvals, including applicable Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and RTA processes.
- Conduct quality inspections and snagging or de-snagging before handover.
- Prepare progress reports, site instructions, and project documentation.
- Manage subcontractor performance, payments, and contractual obligations.
- Lead and mentor site engineers, foremen, and labor teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of landscape construction experience, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven UAE landscape project delivery experience and familiarity with local authority approvals.
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards, irrigation systems, regional plant palettes, and hardscape materials.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on live construction sites.
- Proficiency in landscape drawings, BOQs, and project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
