Role Summary
Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha is seeking a Commis II - Pastry.
The role assists the Pastry Chef in preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and producing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Follow Pastry Chef recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
- Keep the pastry section clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of pastry ingredients.
- Adhere to kitchen health and safety regulations.
- Work with the Pastry Chef and team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Commis II or in a similar pastry kitchen role.
- Know pastry techniques, methods, and ingredients.
- Follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality pastries.
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus.
Skills
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and procedures.
