Purpose of the role
Assist the Chef de Partie with preparation work, food supply stocking, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food on time while meeting quality and quantity standards.
- Follow provided recipes accurately when preparing food.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
- Check product freshness and suitability and store products properly.
- Ensure smooth running of the section during Chef de Partie absences.
- Minimize spoilage and waste through proper storage and strict portion control.
- Follow basic food hygiene guidelines.
- Weigh ingredients and use proper quantities.
- Assist chefs in upholding kitchen health and safety standards.
Professional requirements
- High school qualification or equivalent.
- One to two years of full-time work experience.
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge of food preparation to high quality standards.
- Knowledge of maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Interpersonal requirements
- Work quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to competing demands.

Compensation
- Full-time role paying AED 2,500 per month.
