Role Overview
A luxury hospitality destination in Doha is seeking a Commis I (Pastry) to join its culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked products.
- Assist in daily pastry kitchen operations while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Prepare products according to recipes, specifications, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Support senior chefs in production planning and inventory control.
Requirements
- At least two years of pastry-kitchen experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
- A diploma is required.
