The Chef de Partie manages a designated kitchen section and ensures high-quality food preparation and presentation.
The role is based in a luxury or five-star hotel kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate a designated kitchen section independently.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel standards.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control of food items.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Train and guide commis chefs within the section.
- Ensure smooth service during busy operations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury or five-star hotel is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine and fine dining standards is required.
- Leadership, team coordination, food safety, HACCP, pressure management, attention to detail, and culinary skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A culinary diploma or professional certification is preferred.
- Experience in multi-cuisine or high-volume hotel kitchens is preferred.
- Four years of luxury hospitality experience is listed as preferred.
Workplace
- The role is full-time and permanent.
- Work is performed in person in Doha.
