Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for 20 30 active clients, lead check ins and performance conversations
- Diagnose and optimize underperforming campaigns, troubleshoot deliverability, inbox placement, domain health, spam issues, list quality, and low reply rates
- Review and optimize subject lines, messaging, sequencing, and personalization
- Manage and optimize warm up systems, inbox reputation, sending domains, and DNS setup (SPF/DKIM/DMARC)
- Write and refine cold email copy to improve open rates, reply rates, and positive response rates
- Build and improve delivery documentation, playbooks, and maintain organized workflows and campaign tracking
- Track SLAs, client health, campaign metrics, and operational performance
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, outreach specialists, and leadership
- Report directly to founder on campaign performance, client risks, retention concerns, and operational improvements
Requirements
- Experience in cold email agencies, lead generation companies, outbound sales environments, or startup operations
- Hands on expertise in cold email strategy, deliverability, inbox placement, warm up systems, and outbound infrastructure
- Strong copywriting ability for outbound campaigns
- Experience troubleshooting spam issues, domain reputation, and low performing campaigns
- Technical understanding of APIs, automations, workflows, and outbound systems
- Daily practical use of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and automation workflows
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Comfortable operating independently in fast moving environments

About the Role
- We are hiring a Cold Email Specialist to own client campaign performance, deliverability, retention, and operational execution in a fast growing startup environment.
- You will be directly responsible for cold email campaign performance, inbox placement, deliverability troubleshooting, campaign optimization, client communication, and retention.
- You will work closely with the founder, outreach team, developers, and operations.
What You'll Own

Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in cold email agencies, lead generation companies, outbound sales environments, or startup operations.
