The client is hiring a Civil Draftsman in Dubai to join its engineering team.
The role prepares detailed drawings and plans for roads, buildings, drainage systems, and other civil engineering and construction projects.
Compensation
- The salary is up to AED 5,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
- Develop site layouts, grading plans, road profiles, utility layouts, and structural details.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and team members to collect specifications and resolve design issues.
- Revise drawings based on engineer and project manager feedback and mark-ups.
- Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents according to company standards.
- Conduct site visits when needed to gather data or verify measurements.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and Bills of Materials.
- Keep up to date with design software and industry standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- At least three years of proven experience as a Civil Draftsman or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant drafting or design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction processes.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Experience with BIM is a plus.
- Familiarity with GIS software.
- Exposure to structural and architectural drafting is an advantage.
