Responsibilities
- Manage and support technical sales opportunities assigned by the sales team, prioritizing efforts to maximize productivity, profitability, and customer success within the aviation sector
- Proactively assess airport and airline customer technical and operational requirements, identify infrastructure gaps, and recommend Cisco networking, security, wireless, and collaboration solutions
- Engage with airport authorities, airlines, ground handling companies, aviation service providers, and other stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and design solutions
- Work closely with internal sales, presales, engineering, support, and service delivery teams to develop solutions
- Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales growth across Cisco networking, security, data center, wireless, collaboration, and related technology portfolios
- Mentor and coach sales team members on Cisco technologies, solution positioning, and technical sales best practices
- Identify and develop additional opportunities within existing airport, airline, and aviation customer accounts
- Support commercial negotiations and contract closures by providing technical expertise, solution validation, and commercial guidance
- Prepare technical proposals, customer presentations, executive briefings, solution demonstrations, and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
- Develop customized presentations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and live demonstrations showcasing Cisco solutions for airport operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in Cisco technical presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting within large enterprise or strategic customer environments
- Proven experience supporting airport, airline, transportation, aviation, or enterprise scale infrastructure customers
- Strong expertise in Cisco Enterprise Networking technologies including Routing & Switching, SD Access, SD WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Secure Access, Data Center Networking, Collaboration, and Cloud Networking
- Experience designing end to end Cisco solutions and presenting technical architectures to customer technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of high availability network architectures and operational environments within airports or airlines
- Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing BoMs, solution designs, technical proposals, and commercial quotations
- Strong customer facing presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel across the UAE and GCC to support customer engagements and business development activities

- Collaborate effectively with account managers, customers, partners, and Cisco teams throughout the complete sales lifecycle.
- Support commercial negotiations and contract closures by providing technical expertise, solution validation, and commercial guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Cisco technical presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting within large enterprise or strategic customer environments.
- Proven experience supporting airport, airline, transportation, aviation, or enterprise scale infrastructure customers.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Enterprise Networking technologies including Routing & Switching, Software Defined Networking (SD Access), SD WAN, Wireless (Catalyst/Meraki), Network Security, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Secure Access, Data Center Networking (ACI/Nexus), Collaboration, and Cloud Networking.
- Experience designing end to end Cisco solutions and presenting technical architectures to customer technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of high availability network architectures and operational environments within airports or airlines.
- Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs, preparing BoMs, solution designs, technical proposals, and commercial quotations.
- Strong customer facing presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCDP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
- Experience working with Cisco ecosystem partners and distributors is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and solution design capabilities.
- Willingness to travel across the UAE and GCC to support customer engagements and business development activities.
