About the Opportunity

Role Overview

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Develop the UAE business strategy, growth plans, and operational roadmap.
• Lead business establishment, day-to-day operations, contract mobilization, operational setup, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with clients, healthcare institutions, government entities, and other stakeholders.
• Develop scalable operating systems, policies, performance controls, KPIs, and organizational structures.

Healthcare Catering Management

• Develop healthcare catering strategies and operating models for hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare institutions.
• Address nutritional, dietary, clinical, cultural, and religious requirements.
• Implement food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and quality management systems.
• Establish procurement, supplier management, production, meal distribution, staffing, and service processes.

Business Development

• Identify and pursue healthcare and institutional business opportunities and manage a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Lead client presentations, negotiations, tender preparation, contract pricing, and commercial discussions.
• Assess operational, financial, and reputational risks before pursuing contracts.
• Support expansion into training, workforce development, and healthcare support services.

Financial and People Leadership

• Own P&L and financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, revenue, profitability, cash flow, food costs, labor costs, and operating expenses.
• Present financial and operational reports to senior stakeholders and the Board.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead high-performing management and operational teams.
• Create an accountable, service-focused, performance-driven, and collaborative multicultural work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including executive-level responsibilities.
• At least 4–5 years of recent UAE experience in healthcare catering, hospital catering, institutional food services, or contract catering.
• Proven experience managing healthcare catering contracts and mobilizing new contracts.
• Strong knowledge of food production, procurement, logistics, food safety, labor management, tendering, costing, contract management, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience improving profitability, productivity, and operational performance and managing large multicultural teams.
• Experience operating within the UAE or wider GCC region.
