Role Overview
Oversee daily hotel financial operations, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards and support the Controller with cash flow management, internal audits, and budget preparation.
General Ledger and Reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and compile monthly financial statements in compliance with USALI.
Accounts and Cash Flow Management
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, and General Cashiering.
- Optimize working capital and manage daily cash flow.
Taxation and Compliance
- Prepare local VAT, sales tax, corporate tax, and payroll tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and statutory audits.
Controls and Auditing
- Enforce internal financial controls and monitor hotel revenue capture.
- Verify daily income audits and flag budget variances.
Team Leadership and Payroll
- Lead and mentor accounting staff.
- Review monthly payroll processing and coordinate with operational department heads on finance-related queries.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hospitality accounting standards and USALI financial reporting.
- Capability to manage general ledger closing, reconciliations, financial statements, and audit activities.
- Knowledge of local tax filings, statutory compliance, and financial regulations.
- Ability to lead accounting staff and coordinate with operational department heads.
