Serve food and beverages to guests in the assigned place of work.
Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with hotel standards.
Support sales and maximize guest satisfaction through knowledgeable and responsive service.
Key responsibilities
- Perform all duties and tasks required at the assigned outlet.
- Know and explain the hotel’s services, products, and food and beverage offerings.
- Upsell assigned department items and offer suitable alternatives.
- Monitor operating supplies and equipment while reducing spoilage and waste.
- Keep the workplace and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Perform established opening and closing procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries and report complaints and feedback to supervisors.
- Operate the existing POS system at the assigned responsibility level.
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across the hotel.
Role requirements
- Maintain the correct clean and pressed uniform, appropriate polished shoes, and nametag.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene according to hotel grooming standards.
- Follow hotel policies and fire, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
