Business Analyst –Data Sensitivity & VDI Migration

Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Inventory systems, tools, endpoints, and data usage patterns related to physical device storage.
• Assess and classify data sensitivity across business units, systems, processes, and workflows.
• Analyze data and process flows across systems, servers, networks, and endpoints.
• Prioritize high-risk systems and storage practices for VDI or other secure solutions.
• Document current-state and future-state data storage, access, and usage models.
• Evaluate secure solutions and develop recommendations based on risk, cost, operational impact, and adoption.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Present findings to leadership and support a migration roadmap.
• Contribute to PAM processes and auditing and compliance reviews covering data security.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• The role requires 5–7+ years of professional Business Analyst experience.
• Candidates need enterprise-level experience analyzing systems usage and data flows across business units.
• Familiarity with VDI platforms or the ability to learn new technical domains is required.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, business-case development, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
• NIST, ISO 27001, endpoint management, IT asset management, consulting, or higher-education experience is preferred or advantageous.
