- Generate and process inpatient and outpatient bills accurately and timely
- Verify insurance coverage, approvals, co payments, and policy validity prior to billing
- Ensure daily charge posting for all admitted patients in coordination with clinical documentation
- Collect deposits from cash paying inpatients daily and update billing system
- Address and resolve billing related inquiries from patients and internal departments
- Apply appropriate rate plans, discounts, and DOA approvals as per hospital policy
- Coordinate with insurance, front office, and clinical teams for seamless billing and revenue processes
- Conduct pre admission checks for insurance eligibility, policy coverage, co payment details, and documentation accuracy
- Upload required insurance documents to EMR for audit and claim submission
- Monitor patient class, package applicability, and treatment changes during hospitalization and coordinate billing updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Business
- 2–3 years of billing and customer service experience in healthcare (UAE preferred)
- Knowledge of UAE insurance processes and EMR systems

- Verify insurance coverage, approvals, co payments, and policy validity prior to billing
- Ensure daily charge posting for all admitted patients in coordination with clinical documentation
- Collect deposits from cash paying inpatients daily and update billing system
- Address and resolve billing related inquiries from patients and internal departments
- Apply appropriate rate plans, discounts, and DOA approvals as per hospital policy
- Coordinate with insurance, front office, and clinical teams for seamless billing and revenue processes
- Support admission process by verifying insurance eligibility and capturing accurate patient details
- Perform daily charge entry for inpatient services based on medical records and department inputs
- Conduct pre admission checks for insurance eligibility, policy coverage, co payment details, and documentation accuracy
- Liaise with front office and admission desk for proper billing classification and insurance tagging
- Upload required insurance documents to EMR for audit and claim submission
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Business
- 2–3 years of billing and customer service experience in healthcare (UAE preferred)
- Knowledge of UAE insurance processes and EMR systems
