Position Overview
The partner company is seeking an Associate Principal, Business Development - Financial Services, based in Canada.
Lead strategic client relationships and revenue growth across financial services, with a strong focus on banking.
Combine strategic account growth with hands-on ownership of complex sales opportunities from prospecting through expansion.
Accountabilities
- Own revenue growth across strategic accounts through new-client acquisition and expansion.
- Develop priority accounts and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Pursue new business across banking and financial services through contract close.
- Cultivate C-level relationships and position digital and technology capabilities around client priorities.
- Develop proposals, pitches, statements of work, and RFP responses with cross-functional teams.
- Support digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
- Strengthen banking-focused offerings, campaigns, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy.
- Monitor banking, technology, and vendor trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Translate business challenges and analysis into commercial insights.
- Coordinate pursuit strategies across sales, product, solutions architecture, delivery, and marketing.
- Travel up to 25% for client meetings, pitches, conferences, and related activities.
