Role Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Assistant Product Manager to support and grow the SMB distribution business across the Middle East.
  • The role will focus on managing vendor relationships, driving partner engagement, enabling sales growth, and executing go to market initiatives for SMB customers through the channel ecosystem.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen, relationship management capabilities, and an understanding of the technology distribution landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive SMB business growth across assigned vendors and partner ecosystem.
  • Support achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, partner performance, and regional opportunities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within the SMB segment.
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Enable partners with product positioning, pricing, promotions, and sales support.
  • Work closely with partners to drive demand generation and customer acquisition.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new SMB focused partners.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors on programs, incentives, campaigns, and business plans.
  • Track vendor targets, rebates, MDF utilization, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure alignment between vendor strategy and regional sales execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology distribution, channel sales, product management, or SMB business management.
  • Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with channel partners and vendor ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with hyperscalers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of distribution business models and partner incentive programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries in the Middle East.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self driven with strong execution capabilities.
