Assistant Operations Manager

Job Brief

Salary

• Monthly salary is AED 8,000–12,000.

Operational Responsibilities

• Assist with manpower planning, workforce allocation, resource utilization, shift scheduling, and attendance tracking.
• Monitor workforce productivity, operational efficiency, overtime, and staffing requirements.
• Maintain operational records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reports for management review.
• Coordinate warehouse, production, logistics, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Monitor production, inventory, and dispatch plans and follow up on operational issues.
• Track action items from operational meetings and facilitate timely resolution.
• Analyze performance trends and identify productivity, cost, and bottleneck improvement opportunities.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, operational excellence, HSE, quality, and transformation initiatives.
• Support automation, digitalization, ERP-related projects, process standardization, and best-practice implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Production Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, warehouse management, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain functions.
• Industrial, manufacturing, steel, metals, building materials, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Prior experience supporting operational leadership teams is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of resource planning, capacity management, and workforce management.
• Strong operational reporting, dashboard preparation, MS Excel, and data analysis skills.
• Experience in KPI monitoring and performance tracking.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and ERP systems; SAP or Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Good understanding of inventory and warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership, coordination, planning, organization, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
