As the Assistant Manager - QHSE, you will support the strategic implementation and continual improvement of the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Management System across all logistics and warehousing operations.
This role involves supervising QHSE activities within warehouse and transport functions, reviewing operational performance, and ensuring alignment with both corporate and regulatory standards.
You will lead internal audits, coordinate training and awareness programs, and monitor compliance through structured inspections and performance reviews.
In close collaboration with the QHSE Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a proactive culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Quality & Food Safety Management
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Quality and FSMS procedures across warehousing and transport operations.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GSDP and customer requirements.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions for any non-conformities, focusing on practical and sustainable improvements.
- Maintain and review documentation such as QHSE procedures, change controls, non-conformance reports, internal audits, and training records to ensure proper traceability and control.
Health & Safety
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with local regulations (e.g., EHS Trakhees, Dubai South, Dubai Municipality) and international standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure proactive risk mitigation.
- Promote and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
- Provide training to warehouse and logistics staff on health and safety protocols, emergency procedures, and accident prevention.
- Review incident reports, support investigations, and ensure effective follow-up actions are completed.
Environmental Management
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices within warehouse and logistics operations.
- Implement programs and initiatives to reduce waste, conserve energy, and promote sustainable practices.
- Coordinate the management of hazardous materials, ensuring safe handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Support compliance monitoring of warehouse Value Added Services (labeling, repacking, kitting, inspection, etc.) as and when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support departments in development, implementation, and revision of operational and QHSE procedures, and perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
- NEBOSH IGC or International Diploma (IDip); International Diploma preferred.
- IRCA Approved Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Valid UAE driving license with own car is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse and transport operations preferred.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG), SEDEX, TAPA, and FSMS will be an added advantage
