Responsibilities
- Administer overall purchasing processes and drive standards, automation, and outsourcing
- Support Procurement Manager in prequalification of bidders and tender document preparation
- Prepare Request for Proposals and evaluate tender proposals
- Compile and review contract documents prior to execution
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for best value
- Evaluate supplier performance and update preferred vendor list
- Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and OH&S requirements

- Experience in procurement, tendering, and contract management

Job Purpose
- The Assistant Procurement Manager supports end to end procurement activities including tendering, contract preparation, and vendor management.
- Ensures procurement processes comply with company standards and Delegation of Authority.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer overall purchasing processes and drive standards, automation, and outsourcing.
- Support Procurement Manager in prequalification of bidders and tender document preparation.
- Prepare Request for Proposals in line with processes and Delegation of Authority.
- Evaluate tender proposals to select and appoint suitable consultants/contractors.
- Compile and review contract documents prior to execution.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for best value.
- Evaluate supplier performance and update preferred vendor list.
- Supervise review of pending orders to avoid shortage.
- Ensure adherence to TRSDC Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
- Ensure all activities are performed safely and comply with OH&S requirements.
- Ensure relevant QA/QC procedures are followed.
