About The Job
The Assistant Manager solicits, and books all types of events or corporate business from various sources of leads.
Responds promptly to all telephone and walk-in enquiries about events and catering space and needs to possess good knowledge in all banquet space, facilities and capabilities of competitive market to secure the events for the property.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Meet the sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio covering all levels of accounts’ managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity in her / his portfolio of accounts
- Ensure the communication and information flow is maintained daily by distributing Banquet Event Orders to all Departments as well as by attending daily briefings for the Meeting & Events Department, Food & Beverage Operations and Kitchen Department
- Ensure that all incoming requests are handled jointly with the concerned Salesperson and as per the YPH Standards including an active follow up on sent offers
