Job Description
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists the Housekeeping Manager with cleanliness and maintenance across the property.
The role coordinates and supervises housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
The position is based at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and implementing cleaning schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols and safe equipment use.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly and address quality issues promptly.
- Coordinate with other departments and resolve housekeeping-related guest concerns.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and budgets as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
