Job Description
- Coordination work including preparing drawings, documentation logs, reports, and contracts.
- Design work including developing architectural designs, operating CAD workstations, and producing tender packages.
- Education and training requirements: University degree in Architecture.
- Skills and competency requirements: 5 10 years experience, CAD proficiency, Microsoft Office, project management tools.
Coordination Work
- Prepare drawings and documentation logs as directed by Project Manager.
- Collect all data or photos from the site.
- Prepare required Reports for the project.
- Contracts controlling.
- Coordinate in preparing project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
- Participate in organizing, attending, and participating in meetings.
- Assist in documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Determine project changes.
- Research information as required.
- Assist in performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings.
Design
- Develop and prepare architectural designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications.
- Efficiently operate computer assisted design and drafting workstations.
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.
- Complete documentation and produce sets of TENDER PACKAGES.
- Provide Architectural BOQ and prepare the TENDER BOQ.
- Perform other duties as required (site visits, actual site measurement, etc.).
- Prepare the as built quantity surveying in coordination with all engineers.
- Provide the General Weekly Report based on the actual site with photos for management.
- Capable to provide Space Planning, Design Elevations and 3D models for Visualization.
Education and Training Requirements
- University degree in Architecture.
- High skills in multiple CAD programs 2D & 3D and general computing theory.
Skills and Competency Requirements
- 5 10 years of experience.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Skill and experienced usage of 2D, 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works; proficiency with Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent reporting skills.
- Prioritization and goal setting.
- Prior experience in a high volume Retail, sports environment strongly preferred.
- Good user for all Project Management tools (MS project, Primavera …etc.).
- Knowing about general project management programs.
- Ability to work under pressure.
