Role Overview

Role Overview
The AGE Mechanical Supervisor reports to the Mechanical Workshop Controller.
The role performs and supervises detailed mechanical maintenance activities in the AGE bay.
The role supports airworthiness through appropriate task delegation and authorization.
Core Activities
- Maintain, inspect, and supervise mechanical AGE components using approved technical information and work packages.
- Complete component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements, and functional or system tests.
- Maintain personal and team task authorizations for AGE and component maintenance.
- Ensure staff are competent and approved for allocated maintenance tasks.
- Perform MOE-compliant AGE bay support tasks, including tooling and test-equipment control.
- Evaluate faults and raise ad hoc work cards for faults found during maintenance.
- Meet delivery targets through supervision and report progress to management.
- Maintain applicable trade log books.
- Guide, assess, and develop team members through performance reviews and on-the-job training.
- Supervise maintenance activities and technical instructions for mechanical aircraft ground equipment.
