The role manages supplier payments, financial records, invoice processing, and compliance with accounting policies and standards.
Salary
- Salary is up to AED 5,500 per month.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices.
- Match purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supplier invoices.
- Prepare payment schedules and process supplier payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accounts payable records and file financial documents.
- Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely invoice settlement.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits with relevant records.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice verification, reconciliations, and payments.
- Experience matching purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supplier invoices.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- ERP or accounting software experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel, is required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines are required.
