Hays is recruiting an Accounting Manager for an organisation in Abu Dhabi.
The role leads accounting, reporting, financial systems governance, internal controls, and finance team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end general accounting and financial reporting function.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with IFRS and organizational policies.
- Develop, optimize, and govern General Ledger processes, ERP interfaces, and financial systems.
- Provide strategic financial leadership, high-quality reporting, strong internal controls, and effective team management.
- Act as a business partner to senior management through financial insights, analysis, and recommendations.
Requirements to Apply
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field is essential.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
- CA, ACCA, CPA, or another professional qualification is preferred.
- Real Estate, Investment, or multi-entity experience is beneficial.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
- Proven experience leading finance teams and managing complex accounting environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial system integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
