Role Overview
Lead information security governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory security initiatives for a banking-sector organization.
Report to the Head of Information Security and support banking and technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage information security and compliance projects covering UAE IA, PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, regulatory assessments, and security assessments.
- Develop and improve information security policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage risk registers, treatment plans, risk acceptance, and exceptions.
- Lead security activities for cloud, infrastructure, application, digital transformation, and enterprise technology projects.
Project and Compliance Delivery
- Review project proposals and business requirements from an information security and risk management perspective.
- Integrate security requirements across planning, design, implementation, testing, and go-live.
- Manage remediation from internal audits, external audits, regulatory assessments, and security reviews.
- Track security and compliance findings through validated closure.
