SAP FICO Consultant role based in Calgary, Alberta, with a hybrid work arrangement.
The assignment is a contract position with a stated rate of CAD 95–100 per hour.
Functional expertise
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profit Center Accounting.
- Experience with Bank Accounting and Electronic Bank Statement is preferred.
- Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and customization.
- Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PM, and other SAP modules.
Technical qualifications
- Experience preparing Functional Specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.
- Good understanding of RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Knowledge of IDocs and experience coordinating developments with ABAP teams.
- Experience supporting SAP Fiori applications.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize SAP FICO functionality.
- Support SAP Finance and Controlling processes across core accounting areas.
- Integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PM, and other SAP modules.
- Prepare Functional Specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.
- Work with RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Coordinate development activities with ABAP teams using IDocs knowledge.
- Support SAP Fiori applications.
