About the Role
Al-Ahli Club Company is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to maintain the integrity of financial records, perform month-end closing, reconciliations, and ensure compliance with IFRS.

Responsibilities
- Record and maintain all General Ledger transactions accurately and timely
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
- Perform monthly closing activities and ensure deadlines are met
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash related GL accounts
- Reconcile intercompany and related party transactions
- Support preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements
- Assist in annual external audit and internal audit requirements
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting by providing GL information
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, ZATCA requirements, and Club financial policies
- Assist with Oracle ERP transaction validation and data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting & finance
- Minimum of 3 5 years GL Accountant experience
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Job Purpose
- The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Club's financial records by ensuring all accounting transactions are accurately recorded in the General Ledger.
- The role supports the month end and year end closing process, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with Club policies & IFRS.
Key Responsibilities
