Requirements
- High school certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in carpentry
- Experience in wedding, exhibition, events, or interior fit out companies is highly preferred
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
- Skilled in using woodworking machinery and hand tools

Overview
- The Wedding Carpenter & Event Installer (Fixer) is responsible for constructing, repairing, assembling, installing, dismantling, and maintaining wedding and event décor, stages, furniture, backdrops, floral structures, and custom carpentry items.
- The role requires precision, craftsmanship, teamwork, and the ability to work under tight event deadlines while ensuring high quality finishes and safe installations.
Key Responsibilities Carpentry & Fabrication
- Build and fabricate custom wedding stages (Kousha), backdrops, arches, pergolas, platforms, partitions, and decorative structures.
- Construct wooden furniture and event props according to design drawings.
- Repair damaged furniture and event equipment.
- Cut, shape, assemble, sand, paint, and finish wood components to company standards.
- Install acrylic, MDF, plywood, laminates, decorative panels, and trims.
Event Installation (Fixer)
- Assemble and install wedding decorations, stages, signage, draping support structures, and event props on site.
- Secure all installations safely using appropriate fixing methods and hardware.
- Dismantle event setups carefully without damaging company assets or venue property.
- Ensure all structures are level, stable, and safe before client handover.
Warehouse & Equipment
- Load and unload carpentry materials and event equipment.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and workshop equipment in good working condition.
- Keep the workshop and warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Report damaged tools, missing materials, and maintenance requirements.
Maintenance
- Inspect company inventory before and after each event.
- Perform preventive maintenance on wooden furniture and décor items.
- Carry out emergency repairs during events when required.
Safety
- Follow UAE health and safety regulations.
- Use power tools and machinery safely.
- Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in carpentry is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in carpentry.
- Experience in wedding, exhibition, events, or interior fit out companies is highly preferred.
- Experience installing luxury wedding décor and stages is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong carpentry and woodworking skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Skilled in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Knowledge of stage construction and event setup.
