About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Florist to lead the floral department for a wedding and event company. You will design luxury floral arrangements, manage a team, oversee production, and ensure quality.

- Lead and manage the floral department and supervise florists and floral assistants
- Design luxury floral arrangements for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special occasions
- Develop floral concepts based on client requirements, event themes, and budgets
- Prepare floral proposals, mood boards, and sample arrangements
- Select flowers, foliage, containers, and decorative accessories for each event
- Source and purchase fresh flowers and floral supplies from local and international suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste through proper planning and stock control
- Ensure flowers are properly conditioned, stored, and maintained for maximum freshness
- Plan and supervise floral production schedules to meet event deadlines
- Oversee installation and dismantling of floral décor at event venues
- Work closely with event planners, designers, operations teams, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth event execution
- Train, mentor, and evaluate floral team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional floral design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in luxury weddings and large scale events is highly preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating premium floral designs
- Excellent knowledge of fresh flowers, foliage, floral mechanics, and design techniques
- Experience managing a floral production team
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Physically able to participate in installations and event setup when required
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays during event seasons
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
