Responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to their tables in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when requested
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process customer payments and handle cash, card transactions, and receipts
- Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas before, during, and after service
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
- Assist in preparing tables, replenishing condiments, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a Waitress, Server, or in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Basic cash handling and POS system knowledge
- Good command of English
