Job Summary

  • The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • The role requires maintaining high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and cleanliness while contributing to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and escort guests to their tables in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information regarding food and beverage items.
  • Take guest orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and according to hotel standards.
  • Attend to guest requests and resolve complaints professionally or refer them to the supervisor when necessary.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Prepare dining areas before service, including table setup and cleanliness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service stations.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently during and after service.
  • Ensure all service equipment and utensils are clean and properly maintained.
  • Follow hotel standards for food safety and hygiene.
  • Promote menu items, daily specials, and hotel promotions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
