Sofitel Dubai The Palm seeks a Waiter/Waitress to provide exceptional food and beverage service in a luxury 5-star resort. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, upselling, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu
- Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise en place, setting and resetting tables, light cleaning
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling wherever possible
- Utilize the outlet point of sales system as prescribed
- Ensure all sales are properly recorded, following procedures for ordering, voiding or correcting items
- Serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Clear tables and remove dirty dishes to the dish area
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
- Be flexible in meeting special requests from guests for specific food and beverage preparation methods and ingredients
- Follow presentation guidelines established by the Food & Beverage Manager
- Maintain the assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times
- Ensure all company minimum brand standards are implemented
Requirements
- Prior experience within a similar luxury hotel or established restaurant environment
- Fun, energetic, and passionate about hospitality
- Already based in the United Arab Emirates
- Fluent English speaker

Job Description
