The Waiter/Waitress provides outstanding service to restaurant guests.
The role includes presenting menu options, making recommendations, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, answer menu questions, and offer recommendations.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system.
- Communicate guest requests clearly with the kitchen and deliver meals and drinks on time.
- Check guest satisfaction and provide additional assistance as needed.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or card transactions.
- Keep tables and the dining area clean and follow health, food safety, hygiene, and hotel procedures.
- Track restaurant stock and supplies, communicate shortages, and support opening and closing procedures.
- Take reservations when needed and monitor operating supplies, equipment, spoilage, and waste.
Experience, Certification & Education
- High school certificate is required.
- Two years of experience in the same job role is required.
- Good communication and customer service skills are required.
- Passion for hospitality and an extroverted personality are required.
