Role Overview
The Hotel Recreation Attendant assists guests with recreational facilities and activities while supporting safety, cleanliness, and a positive guest experience.
Guest Service
- Welcome guests and explain available recreational facilities and activities.
- Provide information about pool rules, fitness center usage, sports courts, beach activities, and resort programs.
- Assist guests with equipment rentals and reservations.
- Answer questions and respond to guest requests professionally.
Facility Monitoring and Safety
- Supervise pools, beaches, gyms, playgrounds, sports facilities, and other recreational areas.
- Ensure guests follow safety rules and facility guidelines.
- Report hazards, accidents, and maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Follow emergency procedures and administer basic first aid when trained and authorized.
Equipment and Activities
- Set up and store bicycles, kayaks, sports gear, towels, and other recreational equipment.
- Inspect equipment for damage, arrange repairs when needed, and maintain recreation supply inventory.
- Assist with games, tournaments, children's programs, fitness classes, entertainment activities, and other events.
- Prepare activity areas before and after events.
Cleanliness and Administration
- Keep recreation areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Arrange towels, chairs, umbrellas, and other guest amenities.
- Maintain attendance logs and activity records.
- Process equipment rentals and returns and complete incident, feedback, and daily operation reports.
Requirements
- One year of experience is required.
- The role requires guest service, facility monitoring, equipment handling, cleanliness, safety awareness, and recordkeeping capabilities.
