Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and support enterprise VoIP and Unified Communication solutions
- Administer and maintain Cisco CUCM, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco CUBE environments
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Avaya IP Office/Aura and Mitel MiVoice Business platforms
- Implement and maintain SIP trunks with telecom service providers
- Configure and manage Session Border Controllers (SBCs) for secure voice communications
- Develop and maintain call routing, dial plans, hunt groups, IVRs, auto attendants, and call flows
- Troubleshoot call quality issues, registration failures, one way audio, latency, jitter, and packet loss
- Monitor and optimize VoIP performance through QoS policies and network tuning
- Support PSTN gateways, SIP providers, IP phones, softphones, and unified communication applications
- Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and capacity planning
- Analyze SIP traces, packet captures, and call detail records to identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless voice service delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VoIP Engineering or Unified Communications
- Hands on experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, CUBE, Avaya IP Office/Aura, and Mitel MiVoice Business
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, SRTP, H.323, SIP Trunking, SBCs, Voice Gateways, and PSTN Connectivity
- Experience with VoIP troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, RTMT, SIP Trace Analysis, CDR Reporting
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, VLANs, QoS, NAT, Firewalls, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience supporting IP phones, softphones, conferencing, and collaboration platforms

Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive VoIP Engineer with 3+ years of hands on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting enterprise voice communication systems.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco Unified Communications, Avaya, and Mitel platforms, along with in depth knowledge of SIP trunking, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), VoIP networking, and telephony infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and support enterprise VoIP and Unified Communication solutions.
- Administer and maintain Cisco CUCM, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco CUBE environments.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VoIP Engineering or Unified Communications.
- Hands on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco CUBE, Avaya IP Office or Avaya Aura, Mitel MiVoice Business.
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, SRTP, H.323, SIP Trunking, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), Voice Gateways and PSTN Connectivity, Dial Plans and Call Routing.
- Experience with VoIP troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, RTMT, SIP Trace Analysis, CDR Reporting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, VLANs, QoS, NAT, Firewalls, DNS and DHCP.
- Experience supporting IP phones, softphones, conferencing, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Collaboration Certifications (CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration) preferred.
- Experience with SBC platforms such as AudioCodes, Ribbon, or Cisco CUBE.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and Unified Communications integrations.
- Exposure to cloud based telephony and UCaaS solutions.
- Experience with 3CX, Asterisk, Grandstream, or Yeastar is an advantage.
