Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX

  • As Vice President, Global Product Management you set the long term vision and strategy for Women’s, Hardgoods and Accessories product categories.
  • You provide strategic and operational leadership in overseeing a team of senior leaders, accountable for driving global assortment and line plan strategy.
  • You play a central role in building strategies to accelerate Women’s, Hardgoods, and Accessories business globally.
  • This role is based out of North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work.

Meet Your Future Team

  • The Product Line Management (PLM) team is responsible for determining and delivering the right product, at the right place, at the right time.
  • PLM delivers product lines that support overall Design creative direction while driving sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals.
  • This high performing team works closely with Design and Product Creation Development teams to bring product vision to life.

Core Activities

  • Setting the long term vision and merchandising strategies for Women’s, Hardgoods & Accessories product categories
  • Overseeing a team of product management leaders who execute global strategy for their product categories
  • Leading creation of global product framework and assortment structure that guides merchant execution
  • Overseeing product lifecycle and go to market process through effective teamwork
  • Partnering closely with cross functional partners in Brand Marketing, Digital, Retail and Commercial teams
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor

Future Work

  • Creating and leading execution of multi year business strategies
  • Contributing to holistic business evolution and serving as influential senior leadership voice on women’s strategy globally

Are You Our Next Vice President?

  • Degree and 15+ years’ experience in merchandising with product led brands, including 10+ years leading a team
  • Product obsessed with drive for understanding the 'why' behind new products
  • Expertise in driving strategy, line planning and line architecture
  • Proven track record in developing and leading execution of multi year business strategy
  • Ability to set clear vision and align team around common objectives
  • Influential leader with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong business acumen with ability to lead in complex matrix environment
  • Proven people leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of outdoor apparel marketplace
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Compensation

  • Salary range: USDCAD 224,000 USDCAD 336,000
  • Most new team members join between start and midpoint of range
