Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX

  • As a Senior Product Line Manager 2 Men's Trail, you lead a team who create global, long range, profitable seasonal assortments and line plans.
  • You create strategies that align with the overall merchandising strategy and support company goals.

Core Activities

  • Creating successful mid term merchandising strategies (2 4 year plans) across all business units
  • Mentoring, training, and supporting Associate PLMs and PLMs
  • Partnering with Merchandising and Planning teams to execute product categories
  • Determining and managing product lifecycle for each model
  • Partnering on overall strategic direction on seasonal selling plans
  • Providing global product framework and assortment structure
  • Researching and analyzing the global marketplace
  • Writing and presenting product briefs for new product category strategies
  • Developing and sustaining close relationship with Design and Development teams
  • Developing and delivering product presentations for key calendar touchpoints
  • Maintaining effective partnerships with Visual Merchandising, Design, Development, Brand Marketing and Colour teams
  • Owning the global go to market product knowledge

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in a merchandising environment with product led brands
  • 3+ years experience leading a team or function
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker, influencer, consensus builder
  • Excellent knowledge of retail math concepts
  • Highly organized with strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in developing and leading a team in multi year business strategy execution
  • Excellent understanding of active apparel market within outdoor industry
  • Excellent understanding of design and development process
  • Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Willing and able to travel as required
