Blaura is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Travel Consultant who can independently manage ticketing operations, handle Global Distribution Systems (GDS), drive sales, and perform basic invoicing tasks.
The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, customer-focused, and capable of handling end-to-end travel booking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage **flight ticket bookings, cancellations, reissues, and refunds** independently
- Operate and handle **GDS systems** (such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) efficiently
- Provide travel solutions based on client requirements and preferences
- Drive **sales** by offering suitable travel packages, upgrades, and add-ons
- Handle **customer queries** via calls, emails, or in person in a professional manner
- Prepare and issue **invoices, receipts, and basic financial documentation**
- Maintain accurate booking records and client data
- Coordinate with airlines, vendors, and partners for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and travel regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum **1–3 years of experience** in travel ticketing and sales
- Strong knowledge of **GDS systems** (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre)
- Ability to work **independently** and manage multiple bookings
- Good understanding of **fare rules, ticketing policies, and travel documentation**
- Basic knowledge of **invoicing and billing processes**
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a travel agency or airline
- Knowledge of international and domestic travel regulations
- Familiarity with CRM or booking software
