Job Summary

  • We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly organized Kids Wellness & Activity Coordinator to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents enjoy Blaura's wellness and fitness services.

Key Responsibilities Child Safety & Supervision

  • Supervise children from toddlers to approximately 12 years of age in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure children remain safe, engaged, and well cared for throughout their visit.
  • Maintain appropriate child to staff ratios at all times.
  • Follow child safeguarding policies and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety checks of toys, play equipment, and activity areas.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations.
  • Administer basic Pediatric First Aid when required and report all incidents according to company procedures.

Emotional Wellbeing & Child Development

  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and emotionally supportive environment for every child.
  • Understand children's emotional, social, and developmental needs across different age groups.
  • Recognize signs of anxiety, stress, discomfort, or emotional distress and respond appropriately.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, creativity, teamwork, and positive social interactions.
  • Support children using positive behaviour guidance techniques rather than punishment.
  • Build trusting relationships with children through patience, empathy, and active engagement.
  • Create experiences that contribute positively to children's emotional wellbeing and overall development.

Activity Planning & Engagement

  • Plan and facilitate age appropriate daily activities that are fun, educational, and developmentally appropriate.
  • Organize sensory play, arts and crafts, storytelling, music and movement, STEM activities, yoga for kids, imaginative play, wellness activities, and recreational games.
  • Coordinate daily activity schedules and age group rotations.
  • Adapt activities according to children's interests, developmental stages, and individual needs.
  • Prepare activity materials before each session.
  • Encourage participation while ensuring every child feels included.

Parent Experience

  • Welcome families warmly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's activities, wellbeing, behaviour, and any concerns.
  • Build trust with parents by providing regular updates when appropriate.
  • Handle parent enquiries professionally and compassionately.
  • Create a welcoming family focused experience aligned with Blaura's premium hospitality standards.

Administration & Operations

  • Manage child check in and check out procedures accurately.
  • Maintain attendance records and emergency contact information.
  • Record allergies, medical conditions, and special requirements.
  • Ensure all required consent forms are completed.
  • Maintain activity schedules and daily reports.
  • Monitor toys, books, learning materials, and activity supplies.
  • Report inventory shortages and maintenance issues promptly.

Health, Hygiene & Safety

  • Ensure toys, furniture, equipment, and activity areas are clean and sanitized throughout the day.
  • Follow UAE health, hygiene, safeguarding, and child protection regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety standards.
  • Promote healthy hygiene practices among children.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, Teaching Assistant, Childcare, Nursery Education, Child Development, or Psychology (preferred).
  • Pediatric First Aid Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience working with children in nurseries, preschools, Montessori schools, daycare centres, kids clubs, family entertainment centres, soft play centres, wellness centres, recreational facilities, or hotels/resorts with kids clubs.
