Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for infants, toddlers, children, and young swimmers of varying abilities
- Teach water safety, swimming techniques, confidence building, and survival skills
- Develop structured lesson plans suitable for different age groups and skill levels
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Conduct safe and effective aquatic exercise classes for pregnant women
- Modify exercises according to each participant's trimester and fitness level
- Promote mobility, relaxation, flexibility, breathing techniques, and overall maternal wellness
- Ensure strict adherence to pool safety rules and emergency procedures
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests
- Maintain attendance records and participant progress reports
- Follow all health, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Certified Swimming Instructor qualification from a recognized organization
- Certification in Kids Swimming Instruction
- Certification in Prenatal Aquatic Fitness (preferred)
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Lifeguard certification is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching infants, toddlers, and children (for Kids Swimming Instructor)
- Minimum 2 years of experience conducting prenatal water exercise classes (for Prenatal Aquatic Instructor)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate, certified, and experienced Swimming Instructor specializing in Kids Swimming and Prenatal Water Exercise to join our wellness team.
- The ideal candidate will provide safe, engaging, and professional aquatic sessions tailored to children, expectant mothers, and clients seeking therapeutic water treatments.
- The instructor will maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and customer care while creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for infants, toddlers, children, and young swimmers of varying abilities
- Teach water safety, swimming techniques, confidence building, and survival skills
- Develop structured lesson plans suitable for different age groups and skill levels
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Ensure a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment
- Supervise children in and around the pool at all times
- Conduct safe and effective aquatic exercise classes for pregnant women
- Modify exercises according to each participant's trimester and fitness level
- Promote mobility, relaxation, flexibility, breathing techniques, and overall maternal wellness
- Monitor participant comfort and safety throughout each session
- Educate clients on the benefits of water based prenatal exercise
- Work closely with management to ensure classes follow approved safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Certified Swimming Instructor qualification from a recognized organization
- Certification in Kids Swimming Instruction
- Certification in Prenatal Aquatic Fitness (preferred for prenatal instructors)
- Certified Watsu Practitioner (required for Watsu instructors)
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Lifeguard certification is an advantage
Experience
- Kids Swimming Instructor: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching infants, toddlers, and children
- Prenatal Aquatic Instructor: Minimum 2 years of experience conducting prenatal water exercise classes
