Position overview

The Territory Service Representative – Operations performs timely shipment pickups and deliveries within an assigned territory.

The role represents Blue Dart with customers and ensures safe handling, accurate scanning, COD collection, proof of delivery, and operational compliance.

Location and travel

  • The position is based in Agra, India, and requires field work across an assigned route or territory.
  • The role requires approximately 25% travel.

Pickup and delivery

  • Perform timely pickups and deliveries, meet committed service timelines, verify shipment details, and prevent damage or loss.
  • Maintain delivery productivity and route efficiency while supporting operational requirements during peak periods.

Customer service and documentation

  • Represent Blue Dart professionally, resolve basic customer queries, and escalate concerns or operational exceptions.
  • Collect COD payments, remit cash accurately, obtain proof of delivery, and maintain accurate shipment documentation.
  • Scan shipments using handheld devices or approved platforms and complete real-time status updates.

Safety and assets

  • Follow road safety guidelines, secure shipments, protect company assets and customer property, and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle or personal two-wheeler, valid statutory documents, cleanliness, and basic upkeep.
  • Wear the prescribed uniform, identity card, and applicable personal protective equipment.

Team collaboration

  • Work with shift in-charges and branch operations teams, support colleagues during contingencies, and attend briefings and safety meetings.
  • Contribute to branch productivity, service goals, route efficiency, and operational discipline.

Qualifications and eligibility

  • Requires a minimum eighth-standard pass and accepts freshers or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience.
  • Requires a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving licence and, where applicable, a personal two-wheeler.
  • Requires physical fitness for field operations and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Higher education and pickup and delivery experience are added advantages.

Skills and capabilities

  • Skills include pickup and delivery, shipment handling, COD collection, proof of delivery, scanning, route familiarity, and basic computer and mobile application use.
  • The role requires basic English reading and understanding, customer focus, integrity, reliability, safety awareness, teamwork, discipline, and time management.
