REGIONAL SFC HUB MANAGER - WRO

Position Overview

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Execute regional Surface Hub strategies aligned with operational objectives, customer SLAs, and business growth.
• Lead Hub Operations teams and drive standardized execution, operational discipline, damage prevention, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Own inbound, outbound, sorting, loading, unloading, and dispatch operations to achieve throughput and turnaround targets.
• Optimize manpower deployment, shift planning, dock utilization, and equipment usage.

Infrastructure, Safety and Cost

• Ensure readiness and utilization of docks, conveyors, scanners, MHE, and other operational equipment.
• Plan manpower and operational resources for shipment volumes, forecasts, and peak seasons.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and infrastructure improvements with Engineering teams.
• Drive damage prevention, EHS compliance, safety audits, incident reviews, and corrective actions.
• Improve productivity and reduce handling errors, operational waste, and processing costs.

Continuous Improvement and Governance

• Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives and standardize operational practices across Surface Hub Operations.
• Collaborate with network, PUD, air operations, Commercial, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Network Planning teams.
• Act as the regional subject matter expert during operational reviews, audits, and governance forums.
• Source, negotiate, and deploy large workforce service partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain; MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in logistics operations.
• Strong exposure to Surface Hub Operations, distribution centres, warehousing, cross-dock operations, or transportation networks.
• Experience managing high-volume facilities and large operational teams across multiple shifts.
• Exposure to manpower planning, infrastructure management, process optimization, damage prevention, and operational compliance is preferred.
• Experience in express logistics, transportation, warehousing, 3PL, eCommerce logistics, or supply chain is preferred.
