The role combines structured problem-solving, client engagement, practical technology experience, and strategy-to-execution delivery.
Role Responsibilities
- Support and lead components of technology strategy and transformation engagements.
- Understand client priorities, technology environments, operating challenges, and transformation objectives.
- Apply hypothesis-driven problem-solving through research, interviews, analysis, option testing, and recommendations.
- Translate complex qualitative and quantitative findings into insights, decisions, and roadmaps.
- Support technology strategy, operating model, system selection, process redesign, cloud, data, AI, automation, and architecture projects.
- Develop business cases, financial or economic models, implementation roadmaps, executive presentations, and written briefs.
- Support implementation by integrating people, process, data, and technology considerations.
- Build client relationships, communicate complex ideas clearly, and contribute to proposals and business development.
- Work with multidisciplinary cloud, data, AI, digital, architecture, and implementation professionals.
- Coach and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Previous consulting experience in professional services, technology consultancy, or a highly consultative internal advisory environment.
- Experience with structured analysis, fact-finding, hypothesis development, stakeholder engagement, option assessment, and recommendation development.
- Practical experience in technology strategy, transformation, advisory, digital transformation, or a related field.
- Exposure to at least one relevant technology domain, including cloud, data, AI, digital, infrastructure, architecture, automation, software delivery, or technology operations.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, business analysis, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to prepare persuasive PowerPoint presentations, written briefs, reports, and executive communications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, own assigned work, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to client sites when required.
- Mandatory eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance for relevant assignments.
Assets
- Experience in the British Columbia market or with British Columbia public sector organizations.
- Experience in business cases, economic analysis, financial modelling, benefits analysis, or investment prioritization.
- Experience with technology architecture, enterprise architecture, technology controls, or IT service management.
- Exposure to agile delivery, product management, business analysis, project management, or software development environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CMC, PMP, Scrum credentials, cloud certifications, AI certifications, TOGAF, or ITIL.
Compensation
- The salary range is CAD 84,700 to CAD 134,700.
- Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
- Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs.
Work Location
- The preferred work location is Vancouver, with Victoria also considered for a locally based Senior Associate.
- The role may require travel to client sites.
