Role overview

Lead cybersecurity automation services as a SOAR Service Lead within PwC Canada’s cybersecurity practice.

Provide comprehensive security solutions across diverse client security challenges and domains.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead development and delivery of SOAR automation solutions for cybersecurity operations.
  • Oversee SOAR playbooks, connectors, and jobs across their full lifecycle.
  • Optimize Chronicle SOAR and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Drive change management across IT and security teams.
  • Translate business needs into technical automation strategies.
  • Guide and mentor technical specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Promote innovation and efficiency through strategic security automation.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SOAR, security automation, or security operations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams or automation projects.
  • Hands-on CI/CD pipeline management and automation deployment experience.
  • Experience in large organizations with complex change management processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Technical and professional skills

  • SOAR architecture, integration patterns, and automation frameworks.
  • CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and change management methodologies.
  • Security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Expertise in Chronicle SOAR and Python scripting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • CISSP, CISM, or GIAC industry certification is preferred.
  • Awareness of enterprise IT environments and cross-functional collaboration dynamics.
