Role Overview

PwC Workforce Transformation provides consulting services in human resources, talent management, organizational development, and workforce strategy.

The Workforce Transformation Manager leads end-to-end organizational, talent, payroll, and HR transformation initiatives aligned with client strategy.

The role covers workforce strategy, HR transformation, payroll transformation, talent development, job architecture, skills assessment, rewards, and organizational design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with PwC professionals on high-profile client engagements.
  • Lead HR engagements involving HR strategy, payroll strategy and transformation, organization design, HR technology, workforce planning, people analytics, job architecture, skills management, talent management, and AI in HR.
  • Lead engagements supporting a shift to a skills-based organization.
  • Use payroll technology, processes, and operating models to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create innovative HR and payroll products, accelerators, and methodologies for the Agentic AI era.
  • Manage engagement economics, delivery quality, and delivery excellence.
  • Lead business development activities to identify opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Track talent and skills trends, share insights, and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Coach colleagues, facilitate client workshops, and lead client teams.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum five years of experience delivering HR and payroll transformation services across multiple industries.
  • Proven expertise in talent intelligence, skills-based architecture, skills marketplaces, and labour data analysis.
  • Experience in one or more workforce transformation areas, including payroll, skills-based organization initiatives, HR and payroll analytics, HR technology, or AI-enabled HR solutions.
  • Strong track record of leading and managing teams while mentoring and developing future leaders.
  • Experience assisting with or leading proposals and presentations that support sales efforts.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, client relationship, prioritization, and ambiguity-management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in a consulting environment is highly recommended.
  • Exposure to cloud-based HR and payroll technology implementations such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Dayforce, or ADP is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain federal government security clearance is preferred.

Compensation

  • The salary range is CAD 112,400 to CAD 162,400.
  • Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs in addition to base salary.
  • Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
