The Senior Associate will help clients address complex business and technology challenges and turn strategy into practical outcomes.
The team serves clients across British Columbia and Canada, including government, retail and consumer, utilities, and technology organizations.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead components of technology strategy and transformation engagements.
- Understand client priorities, technology environments, operating challenges, and transformation objectives.
- Use structured, hypothesis-driven analysis to research issues, assess options, and develop recommendations.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative findings into insights, decisions, and actionable roadmaps.
- Support technology strategy, operating model, system selection, process redesign, cloud, data, AI, automation, and architecture projects.
- Prioritize client requirements, investments, capabilities, and initiatives.
- Develop business cases, financial or economic models, roadmaps, executive presentations, and written briefs.
- Support transformation implementation across people, process, data, and technology.
- Build relationships with clients, PwC colleagues, and technical specialists.
- Contribute to proposals, pitches, account activities, thought leadership, and business development.
- Work across multidisciplinary cloud, data, AI, digital, architecture, and implementation teams.
- Coach junior team members and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
What You Bring
- Previous consulting experience in professional services, technology consulting, or a consultative internal advisory environment.
- Experience with structured analysis, stakeholder engagement, option assessment, and recommendation development.
- Practical experience in technology strategy, transformation, technology advisory, or digital transformation.
- Exposure to one or more relevant technology domains, including cloud, data, AI, digital, infrastructure, architecture, automation, or technology operations.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, business analysis, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, own work, deliver high-quality outputs, and work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to travel to client sites when required.
- Security clearance eligibility is mandatory for assignments requiring it and is a condition of employment.
Preferred Assets
- Experience in the British Columbia market or with British Columbia public sector organizations is preferred.
- Experience with business cases, economic analysis, financial modelling, benefits analysis, or investment prioritization is preferred.
- Experience with architecture, technology controls, IT service management, agile delivery, product management, project management, or software development is preferred.
- Relevant CMC, PMP, Scrum, cloud, AI, TOGAF, ITIL, or similar certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation
- The stated base salary range is CAD 84,700 to CAD 134,700.
- Eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs; the salary cadence is not explicitly stated.
Location and Travel
- Vancouver is the preferred work location, with Victoria also considered.
- The role may require travel to client sites.
