Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital beds and medical furniture.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service medical beds and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational faults and complete necessary repairs.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe, functional, and in good working condition.
- Perform maintenance according to OEM guidelines and hospital procedures.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
- Respond promptly to maintenance and breakdown requests.
- Coordinate with hospital staff and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure maintenance complies with applicable health, safety, and hospital standards.
- Report major faults, recurring issues, and equipment requiring replacement or specialist support.
Requirements
- Diploma in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering.
- Minimum five years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Hillrom OEM training certification for hospital beds is described as mandatory/preferred.
- Proven experience maintaining medical beds and medical furniture.
- Hospital or healthcare facility experience is highly preferred.
- Qatar experience and a valid Qatar driving license are preferred.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to troubleshoot and independently resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
Additional Information
- Three vacancies are available.
- The contract duration is two years.
- Working hours are eight hours per day and 48 hours per week.
