About the Role
ABB is seeking a Technical Training Engineer to support the delivery of electrical training programs in Dubai. The role involves assisting instructors, preparing materials, and delivering training on MV/LV switchgear and automation systems.

Responsibilities
- Support instructors in delivering comprehensive electrical training programs
- Assist trainees during practical exercises including electrical wiring, testing, commissioning simulations, and troubleshooting
- Monitor participant progress and provide additional coaching
- Coordinate training schedules and maintain classroom/laboratory readiness
- Verify availability and condition of tools, equipment, and training kits
- Prepare learning materials and ensure all instructional resources are accessible
- Deliver training courses in classroom, on site, or virtual formats
- Facilitate post training activities including feedback collection, assessments, and evaluations
- Prepare and update training documentation including manuals, wiring diagrams, checklists, risk assessments, and test procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment status, maintenance logs, incident reports, and corrective actions
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose enhancements
- Support 70 100 training sessions annually
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Electrical / Automation Engineering
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands on experience in electrical/automation applications
- Solid knowledge of MV & LV products
- Knowledge of safe working procedures and site safety protocols
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and test procedures
- Experience with training platforms (Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar LMS)

Qualifications For The Role

- LV Switchgear, MCC, and Protection Relays.
- PLC basics, HMI/SCADA fundamentals.
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with training platforms (Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar LMS).
- Communication & Coaching skills.
