Role Overview
The employer is an international high-tech organisation and established managed service provider supporting recognised businesses.
The role combines customer interaction, technical troubleshooting, infrastructure support, and practical work at client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance, manage service desk incidents and requests, and keep customers informed within SLA requirements.
- Attend customer sites for issue resolution, installations, and scheduled maintenance.
- Monitor customer systems, install and repair hardware and software, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Prioritise workloads, escalate high-priority matters, and handle urgent incidents remotely and at customer premises.
Compensation and Leave
- Salary is £30,000 to £40,000 per year depending on experience.
- The role includes 40 days of paid holiday annually.
Experience and Security Knowledge
- A minimum of five years' experience in a similar IT position is required.
- Proven knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards and their implementation is mandatory.
