Role overview
A growing managed services provider is seeking an MSP Field Engineer to support clients across a range of industries.
The role combines customer-facing support with technical project work and infrastructure maintenance.
Duties
- Deliver technical support to a broad client base and attend customer sites as required.
- Manage incidents through the support system and maintain regular communication with customers.
- Troubleshoot networking and server issues.
- Install and support hardware and software.
- Escalate service-impacting issues appropriately.
- Monitor customer systems and generate reports.
- Maintain ticketing records and technical notes.
- Support critical incidents and planned maintenance.
Compensation
- Salary is £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- The role offers 40 days of annual paid leave.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience within a relevant IT role.
- Experience implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards is mandatory.
